DR JONATHAN GRATION
Founder In Situ Heritage
With a deep passion for art, design, and history, I specialise in connecting diverse audiences with these rich subjects. My career began in museums and cultural institutions, where I honed my skills in audience engagement and informal learning. I've developed and delivered everything from educational tours for young learners to engaging lectures for wider audiences.
As a conservator of historic interiors I specialised in complex multidisciplinary projects with a strong public engagement component. My own research interest has led me to explore the untapped potential for historic interiors to reveal their layered histories through digital engagement.
I have also shaped educational programs within the higher education sector, which has further refined my expertise in curriculum development, experiential learning, and team leadership. My work consistently aims to bridge the gap between cultural organizations and the communities they serve. Through research, practical tool development, and knowledge sharing, I help heritage and arts organisations enhance their impact and reach.
